ONE SEED. THREE LAYERS.
Each layer for what it does best.
Move between them in one tap.
Hold and send on-chain.
Native segwit. Coin control. Pick fees with a Sparrow-style slider.
Pay anyone, in sats.
Receive at your @paycashu.com address. Send to invoices, LNURL, or other PayCashu users by name.
Confidential and fast.
Two-minute settlement. Hidden amounts. Backed by self-hosted Esplora — no public block explorer sees your queries.
SWAP IN ONE TAP
Move sats between layers
without leaving the app.
Routing through Boltz. We never custody mid-swap — if it stalls, it refunds itself. The app does the script verification on device so a malicious server can't reroute your funds.

CHAT · PAYMENTS · ONE THREAD
Send sats in the
same thread you're
texting in.
Encrypted messages over Nostr (NIP-17). Lightning invoices and payments inline as bubbles. Your contacts double as a Lightning address book — tap a name, send sats, keep talking.
- · End-to-end encrypted gift-wrapped DMs
- · Pay or request sats without leaving the chat
- · Your Nostr identity is your wallet — one seed
LIGHTNING ADDRESS
Get paid at @paycashu.com
Pay once. Yours forever. Pay with Lightning, Bitcoin, or Apple Pay.
RECOVERY
Twelve words. One wallet.
Your seed is generated on device, stored in iOS Keychain, and never leaves it. No accounts, no servers, no backups you didn't choose.

QUESTIONS
Is PayCashu open source?
Yes. The iOS app, the LNURL router, and the docs site live in public repos under github.com/paycashu. MIT licensed.
Is it audited?
No. Treat it as beta. Verify the build yourself, run amounts you can afford to lose, and watch the GitHub for the first formal audit.
Where are my keys stored?
In the iOS Keychain on your device, behind Secure Enclave when available. They never touch a server we operate.
Why no Android?
One person, one platform, done well. iOS first because the Keychain + Secure Enclave story is tightest. Android comes when iOS is solid.
What does it cost to use?
Zero from PayCashu. You pay only the underlying network fee plus Boltz fees on cross-layer swaps.
How is the Lightning Address resolved?
Through ln.paycashu.com, a self-hosted breez-lnurl router. Your wallet still signs every payment locally.
